Shadows, Reflections & Silhouettes
In this project, I had to capture shadows, reflections and silhouettes. This is a project I had to do for Digital Photography 11. I used photoshop to edit these photos, changing the filter, brightness, curves, saturation, etc.
AIRHEADS
The task of my last project in Digital Photography 11 was to compose a themed photo album.
I decided to draw faces on balloons and gather friends and family members to take these fun pictures. Lastly, using photoshop, I edited the photos to add a bright pop of colour against the black and white background.
The outcome of these photos are amazing and by far my favourite album that I've created as it best shows my creativity and skills in photography as well as in photoshop.
Emotions
In this project for my Digital Photography 11 class, I had to take 6 pictures that conveys emotions without including people. Hover over each of the photos to see what emotion it depicts.
Minimalist Architecture
This is another project for my Digital Photography 11 class. We first had to research about minimalist architecture photography, in which I had observed recurring elements of like sharp lines and edges, shapes like rectangles and squares of buildings. Photographers also incorporate non-architectural elements into their work by using space and shadow to add depth and contrast. Choosing only a few colours to captured in the photo is also important to keep the minimalist concept.
These photos are taken around Johnston Heights Secondary School and are edited using Photoshop. I used what I learned from my research to include the common elements of minimalist architecture in my photos. This was my first time doing minimalist photography and it was a unique experience that I'd love to do more of in the future.
Abstract Paper Photography
In this project, I had to cut, design and create paper sculptures for my own photos. Since we were learning the concept of abstraction, most of my paper sculptures are cut and shaped in a random and unique way. With the help of YouTube videos, I was able to follow and create more intricate ones as well. For this project, I had a chance to experiment more on the aperture setting of the camera. These images are edited using photoshop to manipulate colour, light and shadow.

My design was chosen for Johnston Height’s Personal Project Showcase 2019. I am very proud of this poster design I’ve done to promote this important event. It is such an honour to see my own work posted around the school.
Song Lyric
Text & Image
This is another Digital Photography 11 project. We had to choose our favourite line from a song. Then, we had to capture a photo that represents the lyrics and include the words in the photo as well. Here, I clipped together pages from a book into a heart shape. Luckily that day the blue sky was looking amazing. So, I held the book up to the sky as a background and shot this dreamy looking photo.
Portraits
In this project, I had to take portrait pictures of one of my classmates and edit the photos using photoshop. I had to find and follow photoshop tutorials to learn new techniques and improve my skills. These are the three best ones I've made. Hover over the images to reveal the original portrait photos.

Celebratory
STAMP
I entered for the Sears DX Canadian High School Competition for Graphic Design. Students were challenged to develop a celebratory stamp to represent Canada's big milestone; it's 150th Anniversary in 2017.

Other School Projects
This is a project for French 11. As a group, we had to pick a restaurant theme, create the name, and choose + explain the dishes on the menu in French.
I was the group leader as well as the designer for the team. I designed an advertisement poster and the menu for our restaurant. I love the simplicity and effectiveness of my design overall.
These are other projects I've done for French 11. The first one is a poster for an Oreo advertisement with a slogan that says : "Find Your True Pair". The second image is a recipe poster for croissant and the third image is also a recipe poster for The Three Sisters Soup all in french.
This is a project for Geography 11. The task is to create an informational brochure about a natural disaster. I chose to do my research on Tsunamis. This is the three-fold brochure I designed. It shows my ability to organize information into a concise and clear presentation yet still displaying relevant information.
This is a project for my Business 10 class. We were to create our own cereal product and create a business plan for it. I was the designer for the cereal box. This in my opinion is one of the best product designs I've done. It is fun, creative and eye-catching. Read our business plan here.
This is a poster I co-designed with Franchesca Hermosura. It is used to promote the Spain and Italy trip for art and Spanish students in Johnston Heights Secondary School.
This is a project for Planning 10. We were learning about mental health and the types of mental illnesses. The task is to create a mental health awareness poster. I designed a poster for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. My intent was to catch people's attention and reading more about this poster by including a familiar face who also struggled with OCD : celebrity, Daniel Radcliffe. The repeating words serve two purposes : it represents the repeating urges of OCD but are also there to catch attention on the poster.

Snow White And The Seven Shots
This is a script I wrote for my Directing & Scriptwriting 12 class. It is a two person scene with the comedic banter between a pessimist Disney Princess employee and a hopeless romantic bartender.
I had the opportunity to direct and film my short play starring my two classmates, Aurelia Gray and Donnel Corpuz.
Continuum
This is a film idea that I wrote with a complete synopsis and story outline. It is a “Black Mirror”-esque film which touches upon the genre of Sci-fi and Psychological Thriller and set at a time in the future where the subconscious, skills and strengths of the dead can be transferred into someone else’s body.

Through Different Truths
This is an essay outline I wrote for my English 11 class. We read the novel, "Life of Pi" by Yann Martel. My essay is about how the reader's preference, perspective, and belief decides the plausibility of the endings in the novel.. The essay I wrote received a 98%. This is one of the essays I am most proud of writing as I think it showcases my expository writing abilities best.
Living With OFD: Obsessive Fangirl Disorder
This is another essay I wrote for English 11. It is a satirical essay where we had to include irony, sarcasm and satire. The task was to express a different part of ourselves that we may be insecure about or others poke fun at and turn it into something we're proud of. I chose to describe my role and experiences as a full-time fangirl. I loved writing this essay because it was about something I truly relate to and it showed a more quirky, creative side to my writing abilities.
The Endemic Pygmy Three-Toed Sloth
This is the final project I had to write for Environmental Science 11. It is a research project in which we had to find at least two journal articles on our topic and write a full 2-3 pages research paper. The topic I chose to write about was the population status and conservation of the Endemic Pygmy Three Toed-Sloth. This displays my composed, organized, and informative writing abilities as well as my ability to analyze and interpret research findings.
